Privacy notice

Travel The List keeps very little about you. This page says what, why, for how long, and how to ask us about it.

Last updated 28 Oct 2026

Who is responsible

Nikola Artukov, a private person, is responsible for your data (the “controller”) for now. The address for every question in this notice is support@lingoblend.app. A company will take over from Nikola Artukov, and this notice will be updated and dated when it does.

What we keep and why

You can read every page without an account and without giving us anything.

  • Your Life List, your recent searches, the airport you chose for flight fares and the choices you make about language and currency stay on your device. We do not receive them.
  • Our host, Vercel, writes a request log when you load a page: the address you asked for, the time, the kind of browser and your internet address. A search is part of the address, so the words you search for can appear in it. Vercel keeps these logs for a short time and we use them to keep the site running and to find faults. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure site.
  • We do not sell personal data, show advertising, or build a profile of you.

Cookies and what your browser stores

We set only the cookies and stores the site needs to do what you asked, so there is no cookie banner. None of it is used for advertising or to follow you from one site to another.

locale (cookie)
Remembers the language you chose, so the site opens in it next time. Set only when you choose a language. Kept for one year.
currency (cookie)
Remembers the currency you chose for prices. Set only when you choose one. Kept for one year.
life-list (browser storage)
Your Life List: the events you saved and the stage of each. Stays on your device until you remove it or clear your browser’s data.
life-list-prompt (browser storage)
Remembers that we have already shown you the prompt about keeping your list.
life-list-moments (browser storage)
Which Life List moments (such as your first tick) we have already shown you, and which “Were you there?” prompts you closed. Edition ids only. Stays on your device until you clear your browser’s data.
account-session (browser storage)
A marker that you are signed in, so pages can show the right buttons at once. Accounts are not open yet, so nothing sets it today.
recent-searches (browser storage)
Your latest searches, shown back to you in the search box. Never sent anywhere.
home-airport (browser storage)
The airport you chose for flight fares on event pages, as a city code. Stays on your device, and we never send it anywhere. “Forget my airport” removes it.
language-choice and language-suggestion-dismissed (browser storage)
Remember that you chose a language, or that you closed the suggestion to switch to one.

Error reports and visitor statistics

Visitor statistics are switched on. Error reports are switched off at the moment. What is switched off will work as described below only when we switch it on, and this notice will say so first.

  • Error reports (Sentry, a service we use in its EU region). When the site breaks, it can send the error, the page it happened on and the kind of browser. Before sending we remove cookies, headers, search text, form content and anything that looks like an email address or a code. A browser report reaches Sentry with your internet address, which Sentry is set not to store. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in fixing faults.
  • Visitor statistics (Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights). They count page views and referrers, and measure how fast pages load. They set no cookies. A visitor is a code made from the request that is thrown away after 24 hours. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in knowing which pages are used and whether they are fast.
  • Neither sends anything from the pages that are about you: sign-in, your account, your alerts and your Life List.
  • Search words and the part of an address after a “#” are cut off before anything is sent.

Reporting a mistake

The “Report a mistake” form on an event page sends which event, which fact, what is wrong, the page’s language and the time: nothing about you. To stop floods of reports, we also keep, for 2 days, a scrambled code made from your internet address and the day, which cannot be turned back into the address or linked from one day to the next; it allows 5 reports a day. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the facts right and the form free of abuse.

What is not open yet

Accounts and alerts by email do not exist yet. Before either opens, this notice will say what it keeps, why and for how long, and it will carry a new date. Accounts will need you to be 16 or over.

Who else handles your data, and where

We use Vercel to host the site and, once they are on, to count visits, and Sentry to receive error reports. They handle data for us under our instructions and a data processing agreement. Our servers and database are in Frankfurt. Where a provider or its group is based outside the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, it relies on the standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision for the transfer. We do not give your data to anyone else.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to limit how we use it, to give it to you in a usable form, and to stop us using it where we rely on our legitimate interest. Write to support@lingoblend.app. We aim to answer within 5 working days and in any case within one month. You can also complain to your data protection authority; in the United Kingdom that is the Information Commissioner’s Office.
